Best Business Educators In The World Talk about:
|

| Quite possibly,
the first of our business book summaries, encapsulates the message
behind our Unfair Advantage series. You see, the author, Richard Edler, wrote a brilliant book around just one question that he asked of 25 highly successful business people - and the question was – “What do you know now that you wish you’d known 25 years ago?” Can you see the power of tapping into the REAL business thoughts of REAL businesspeople who have produced REAL results? Dan S. Kennedy, one of America’s true small business entrepreneurs shares his thoughts on the eight major areas of opportunity for making big money, Then there’s Ron Willingham’s 6-Point System For Keeping Your Customers Overjoyed which is so basic that most business managers miss them. For instance, #6 is simply…invite customers back. Now be honest for a minute, how many of us actually do this! We’ve also summarised the excellent book The Japanese Way Of Marketing and two points really do stand out. The Japanese fervently believe that “royalty” creates “loyalty” and that everyone in Japan is a marketer. And when three bright scholars from the Harvard Business School write a book on how to make better decisions, it’s worth a read. Let’s face it, decisions are the stuff of which life is made and shaped. The better we do it, the better will be the quality & enjoyment of our lifestyle. Author, Jeremy Rifkin, says he is a realist, not a pessimist. Yet, one of the scenarios he paints for the future is downright scary…and he could well be right. It’s the last book in the summary and its one that will leave you thinking about the future. |
